Refunds
At Ruggy, we value our customers and strive to provide the best possible service. We understand that sometimes you may need to return a rug, and we want to make the process as smooth as possible. Please read our refund policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.
35-Day Return Policy We offer a 35-day return policy, which means you have 35 days from the date of receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your rug must be in the same condition as when you received it, unused, and with its original packaging. You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
Initiating a Return To start a return, please contact us at admin@ruggy.com.au and provide your order details. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that we cannot accept returns that have not been requested in advance. We kindly ask that you allow up to 10 business days for your return to reach our warehouse. Once received, our team will process the return, which may take up to 5 business days.
Restocking Fee Please be aware that all returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee per item, which will be deducted from your refund. This fee covers the costs associated with processing and restocking returned items.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items We strive to ensure that all rugs are in perfect condition before shipping them to you. However, in the unlikely event that you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately. We will evaluate the issue and take appropriate measures to rectify it for you.
Exceptions and Non-Returnable Items Please note that certain items cannot be returned, including custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). If you have any questions or concerns about the eligibility of your specific item for a return, please get in touch with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Sale Items and Gift Cards Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. These items are considered final sale and are non-refundable.
Exchanges If you wish to exchange an item, the fastest way to ensure you get the desired product is to return the item you have following the return process mentioned above. Once your return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds Once we receive and inspect your returned rug, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Please allow up to 10 business days for your return to reach our warehouse and an additional 5 business days for processing. If your refund is approved, it will be automatically issued to your original payment method, minus the 20% restocking fee per item and freight fees.
Please note that the time it takes for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund may vary.
